Misty Gaddis, FNP

Misty Gaddis has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 13 years and is currently working in a primary care setting. In 2018 Misty graduated from The University of North Florida with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice. “As a family nurse practitioner I treat pediatric to geriatric patients, I am also very knowledgeable in women’s health.”

Gaddis began her nursing career almost 20 years ago in a hospital setting in labor and delivery. She worked in the operating room, nicu, postpartum care, and med surge overflow. During that time Misty began her journey in graduate school and obtained her Master of Science Degree in Nursing.

“I continued to work in the hospital while pursuing my dreams of becoming an advanced practice nurse. When I graduated I briefly worked in the hospital as I began my career as a nurse practitioner.” “During my training I chose to work in an underserved area for the majority of my adult clinical rotation because my passion for helping those less fortunate has always been a driving force in my nursing career.” “This passion led me to take a position in corrections where I learned tremendously!” “Today I am back in a primary care setting where I have been blessed with another great opportunity to add orthopedic and regenerative care to my list of services to offer.”
