Jen is a licensed counselor in Missouri who has a passion for working through trauma with adolescents and adults -- individually and in family therapy. Jen spent her childhood in apartheid South Africa and her early memories include watching her parents work in rural villages. This awareness of how poverty and culture affect people is something she uses in her therapeutic approach. When she's not counseling at Big Tree or teaching a couple of courses at local colleges, Jen enjoys spending time with her family, long hikes with her dog, and reading.
