Just for kids, just when you need it

Little Tree Pediatric Urgent Care provides rapid access to professional medical care, care designed with you child or teen's specific needs in mind. Located in Columbia, Missouri.

Is now okay?

When your child is ill, you would really want them feeling better... now.  While some situations require emergency care, a six hour wait in an ER rarely seems ideal. If your child's primary care provider can't provide timely care, our expert time is available.  We allow walk-in appointments from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday and  10:00AM to 2:00PM  on Saturday and Sunday.

Just for kids...  and parents, too.

Children and teens have unique needs.  An ill child deserves an atmosphere and dedicated care team suited to their age. We love your kids. And we enjoy helping parents who are stressed and a need a team that is comfortable even with the most complex pediatric needs.

Innovative care...Affordable care.

While Big Tree is known for its innovative care model, our Pediatric Urgent Care is relatively ordinary.  We can take x-rays, take a look at your little one's ears or perform a rapid strep test. We work with regular commercial insurance just likely any other health care provider.   Our members can get care as a part of their membership, but the Pediatric Urgent Care is for any kid, even non-members.  Unfortunately, the University of Missouri Custom network and Missouri Medicaid programs are unwilling to work with us.

Pediatric Primary Care, too.

Check ups, immunizations and more!

We also have primary care pediatricians and nurse practitioners who can act as your child or teen's primary care provider.  We have expertise in the full spectrum of primary care pediatrics.  We commonly provide well child care from birth until age 18, including immunizations (which can be billed to any commercial insurer).  Our primary care patients enjoy a long term relationship with a care team that they get to know and trust.  These trusting relationships pay large dividends during those challenging teenage years, an age during which we have walked with thousands of families.

We also have experience, unfortunately, with the full spectrum of pediatric mental health conditions. In these complex times, we have helped families navigate depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder and other trying and difficult situations.  Whether your child is struggling with outbursts, agitation, cutting, suicidal thoughts or difficulties at school, we would love to help your family navigate these difficult waters.

We commonly manage asthma, chronic constipation, developmental disabilities, pediatric obesity and other chronic conditions in children.

Little Tree has developed an innovative care model that allows for parents to access their care team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Members at Little Tree have access to a messaging app that allows them to ask clinical questions, show us pictures of rashes, or schedule appointments. Patients can be members through the Access membership ($35/month and then we bill your insurance for all covered services) or an Unlimited membership ($70/month and all clinical services are no additional cost).  Families pay one membership for children (under 19), no matter how many children belong to the household.
